Vaktinde needs no account and connects to no server. Your reminders and settings are stored only on this phone; nothing syncs automatically, and they leave it only if you share a backup file. We don’t see, collect or share them.
Reminder titles, categories, times and repeat rules, notes, groups, tracked items, your complete / snooze / skip history, your preferences (language, time zone, week start, notification settings) and a copy of your subscription status.
This data lives in the app’s own storage. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
If your phone’s own backup (iCloud Backup or Google backup) is on, Vaktinde’s data may be included in it. That backup belongs to your Apple or Google account; we have no access to it. If you move to a new phone from a backup, your reminders come along.
Settings → My data → Back up to a file writes your data to a single .vaktinde file. The file isn’t encrypted: it includes your reminder titles, your history and any notes, and anyone with access to the file can read them. Save it somewhere you trust.
The file leaves the app only when you choose to save or share it; it is never sent to us. The service you choose (for example email, Drive or AirDrop) applies its own privacy practices. Deleting Vaktinde doesn’t delete copies you saved elsewhere.
Backup files don’t carry your Pro subscription, permissions or device details. Restoring replaces the data on this phone with the file’s data; calendar links of imported items don’t carry over to the new phone.
The Home Screen widget shows today’s reminder titles; Lock Screen and StandBy summaries don’t show titles. Widget information is prepared on your phone and displayed by the launcher where you add the widget.
Notifications and alarms are scheduled locally on your phone; no server is involved. Notifications and the lock screen never show your reminder’s title.
If you use calendar import, Vaktinde previews events from the calendars and date range you select on your device. For items you choose to import, it stores titles, dates, time zones and the source identifiers needed to check for repeat imports and to ask you about later calendar changes. Calendar data isn’t sent to us or third parties, and your calendars are never changed.
You can revoke calendar access in your phone’s settings; this doesn’t delete existing copies. Deleting an imported reminder in Vaktinde also removes its source reference. Source calendar syncing and operating system backups follow your account and device settings.
We use no advertising, analytics or tracking tools and collect no device identifiers.
If you chose to share with developers in your phone’s settings, Apple or Google may pass us crash reports that contain no personal information.
Vaktinde Pro is bought and managed through the App Store or Google Play. Your payment details never reach us. To check whether your subscription is active, the app only talks to the store service on your phone.
The previous version of Vaktinde offered optional sign-in and sync. This version sends no data to any server. If you signed in to the previous version and want the data stored on the server under that account deleted, email us.
Vaktinde does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It only shows the reminders you set up.
Vaktinde is not directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect data from children — or from anyone.
For your rights under laws such as GDPR and KVKK (access, correction, deletion, objection), email us. The data on your phone is accessible only to you anyway.
